The Covid-19 Pandemic has been one of the deadliest pandemics the world has ever witnessed. The outbreak has affected the entire world. There is hardly any country that hasn’t been affected by the brutal impact of the virus. Travelling is something that was completely out of question during the last one and a half years. But today, the world is returning to its original pace. Offices and educational institutions that have been closed for more than a year are starting to reopen now and so are the international borders.
Canada has also opened its borders with effect from 7th September 2021. However, this comes with a set of restrictions as well. If you are an international student and have been granted your student visa in Singapore for Canada, the given information is for you.
Let us have a look at what are the conditions with which Canada is accepting tourists now:
Fully Vaccinated Tourists
Canada is accepting tourists who have received both their doses of vaccination. Travellers are required to have received their last dosage at least 14 days before their date of travel. - Janssen/ Johnson & Johnson (one dose)
Apart from the ones mentioned above, no other vaccine will be accepted in Canada. Other vaccines are not accepted as per the Government Policies of Canada, as of yet.
Canada first opened its borders for the fully vaccinated American Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada in the second week of August. Gradually, it opened the borders for all fully vaccinated tourists.
